(July 3, 2020, 4:55 a.m.) -- A man (adult) was shot/wounded on July 2 in the area of 14th St./Rose Ave. (6th dist. Cambodia Town) -- virtually the same location where a man was shot to death on June 29.

LBPD Watch Commander Lt. Shaleana Bensen says officers responded to 14th St./Rose Ave. at about 9:15 p.m. to assist LBFD with a man (adult) who'd suffered a gunshot wound. LBFD transported the victim to a hospital where he was last reported in stable condition.

The suspect is outstanding. Gang detectives [who routinely respond to non-fatal shootings] and officers were at the location in the overnight hours seeking witnesses and possible video.

As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, a man was shot/killed at the virtually the same location (1400 block Rose Ave) at early evening June 29 (LBREPORT.com coverage here.)
