(July 31, 2020, 6:15 p.m.) -- The latest campaign finance report filed by the Cindy Allen for City Council 2020 (candidate run) campaign indicates it spent $108,867 in the first six months of 2020 to put her into a November
runoff against Reform Tikcet cabidate Robert Fox. In a multi-candidate field, Ms. Allen finished just behind o Mr. Fox in a March 3 primary.
As of June 30, 2020, Ms. Allen's campaign reports cash on hand of $24,757 along with 5,712 in unpaid bills. Following Ms. Allen's March 3 qualification for the runoff, contributors to her campaign included the following (not a complete list):

The Allen campign's expeditures include $1,719 paid to "Toskr." That's a Bay Area firm that uses a sophisticated system to send local-appearing interacive campaign text messages. The firm describes its getthru system here. and describes the firm's history history here. As reported last year by LBREPORT.com, the Lena Gonzalez 2019 state Senate used the firm in her special election.
The contributions listed above are to Ms. Allen's campaign. They don't include contirbutions to "independent expenditure" committees that may be running their own separate campaigns supporting Ms Allen.
