(July 5, 2021, 11:10 a.m.) -- With the caveat that we don't yet have statistics on administrative and/or criminal fireworks citations (tickets) issued by LBPD and LBFD on July 4th, LBPD's daily booking log shows one arrest/booking as of early evening July 4th of an individual on suspicion of violating LB Municipal Code 18.48.720 on possession, storage, sale, exposure of fireworks for sale (a misdemeanor) and CA Penal Code section 69 prohibiting attempts by threats or violence to deter/prevent an executive officer from performing their duty or similarly knowingly resisting the officer.

At about 8 p.m. July 4, LBPD arrested a 27 year old Compton woman in the 500 block of Esther St. The booking log indicates she was released on posting a $25,000 cash bail or bond.

LBREPORT.com will update this and other pages with further stats as we learn them.
