(June 16, 2019) -- Two men were stabbed in the 1 a.m. hour in the 200 block of Pine Ave. and a man was stabbed also stabbed in the area of 3rd St./Pine Ave. in the after midnight hours (exact time not currently clear.)

LBPD says its Detectives believe that the same suspect -- a man (adult) Hispanic in his 20's -- was involved in both incidents.

In preliminary information, LBPD Public Information Officer Shaunna Dandoy tells LBREPORT.com that officers responded at roughly 1:20 a.m. to the 200 block of Pine Ave regarding an assault with a weapon call and found two men (adults) with stab wounds; LBFD transported the victims to a hospital in stable condition. LBPD's preliminary investigation indicates a man stabbed the two victims with an unknown weapon during some type of altercation and then fled the scene.

In the 3 a.m. hour, a third stabbing victim turned up at a hospital and said he was stabbed in the area of Pine Ave./3rd St. in the after midnight hours (exact time currently unclear) during some type of altercation.

Although a motive is currently unknown, LBPD's Gang Detectives responded...and LBPD's investigation of what took place is ongoing
