(June 29, 2020. 5:55 p.m.) -- A man (adult) was shot to death on Sunday night (June 28) in the 5800 block of Orange Ave. (just north of South St., the border between 8th and 9th districts.)

In a release, LBPD says officers found the victim laying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound tohis uppoer torso; LBFD arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene. LBPD identifies the victim as Archie Harris, 49, of Bellflower.

In its release, LBPD says the preliminary investigation suggests the suspect is a man (adult) who floed on foot...and Detectives are collecting evidence and conducting interviews to learn the circumstances of what happened.
