(June 29, 2020. 10:00 p.m.) -- In LB's third shooting and second homicide within 24 hours, a man (adult) was killed by gunfire at dusk today (Mon. June 29) in the 1400 block of Rose Ave. (6th Council district/Cambodia Town.)

In initial information, LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez says officers responded to reports of shots heard in the 1400 block of Rose Ave. and found a man (adult) shot and wounded. LBFD transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition...and he didn't survive. Homicide Detail Detectives have responded to the scene.

Earlier today, a 16 year old boy was shot/wounded in the 5800 block of Atlantic Ave. (LBREPORT.com coverage here). which followed a fatal shooting less than a mile due east in the 5800 block of Orange Ave (LBREPORT.com coverage here.)
