Debate: State Senate Runoff Candidate Guerrero Accepts LBREPORT.com's Offer To Host/Webcast Debate; We Await Candidate Gonzalez's Response

(Mar. 28, 2019, 1:10 p.m.) -- On March 27 at 4:23 p.m., state Senate runoff candidate Jack Guerrero emailed the following to LBREPORT.com:

"I happily accept your invitation for a debate or candidate forum, anytime -- preferably evenings or weekends. I look forward to media-organized opportunities to discuss substantial issues affecting our region and state. Thank you for the outreach."

LBREPORT.com is awaiting a response from runoff candidate Lena Gonzalez to our offer, emailed (March 27 at 7:10 a.m.) to host and provide webcast access to a debate with the candidates.

LBREPORT.com is an independent online news outlet in Long Beach now in our 19th year. The runoff election is scheduled June 4 (with vote-by-mail ballots circulating for weeks prior.).
