2nd St/Granada Ave.: Reports of Man Chasing/Attempting To Cough On People Prompt LBPD To Detain Him, Take Him To Mental Health Facility

(March 26, 2020, 3:40 p.m.) -- On March 25, 2020 at about 9:40 p.m., LBPD responded to the area of 2nd St./Granada Ave. after calling parties relayed that a man was chasing people and attempting to cough on them.

LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Rudy Garcia says officers detained him, investigated the incident, interviewed the man, took him to a mental health facility, interviewed additional witnesses and took a report.
