(May 6, 2019, 4:45 p.m.) -- No persons were hit, but barely two hours after someone (for reasons presently unknown) fired multiple shots on Golden Ave. south of Spring St. (across from Birney Elementary School, LBREPORT.com coverage here), LBPD says someone fired shots at an individual outside a restaurant in the shopping plaza at the SE quadrant of Carson St. at Cherry Ave.

LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez tells LBREPORT.com that on May 5 at about 9:24 p.m., officers were sent to the 2000 block of E. Carson St. and determined that a no-person-hit shooting had occurred outside a restaurant (in the shopping plaza, south side of Carson St., east of Cherry Ave.) following an earlier altercation. A responding officer described the victim as uncooperative with LBPD's investigation.
