(May 5, 2019, 10:52 p.m.) -- Shortly before sunset on Sunday (May 5) in LB's Wrigley neighborhood, some person(s) fired multiple shots on Golden Ave. just south of Spring St. (7th Council district), basically across the street from the west side of Birney Elementary School.

With initial information, LBPD Watch Commander Lt. Brian McPhail tells LBREPORT.com that officers responded at about 6:30 p.m. to the 2900 block Golden Ave. They located a crime scene but found no person(s) with injuries. Detectives have been notified and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
