(May 11, 2019, 10:55 a.m.) -- Just minutes after a man was shot/wounded in NLB (4900 block of LB Blvd., LBREPORT.com coverage here), LBPD responded to a call reporting shots-fired in Central LB (determined to have occurred just west of Rose Ave, south of 11th St., 2nd Council district)
LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez tells LBREPORT.com that at about 11:05 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Minerva Park and found evidnece of a shooting on the 1000 block of Minerva Park (short street west of Rose Ave.) Initial information is sketchy. No physical injuries are reported; the suspect is described as a male [unclear if juvenile or adult] who left the scene in a sedan; a motive for the shooting is currently unknown...and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
