(May 11, 2019, 6:15 p.m.) -- At midafternoon Saturday (May 11), LB's historic Willmore City district experienced gunfire after an argument by two men in the 800 block of Daisy Ave. led one of the men to fire shots that hit an unoccupied vehicle and a building in the 1st Council district residential neighborhood.
LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez tells LBREPORT.com that officers were dispatched to the location at about 3:25 p.m. and their preliminary investigation indicates the shooting followed a verbal altercation between two men (adults). No physical injuries were reported as a result of the rounds that hit the unoccupied vehicle and a building. The suspect and victim were both gone prior to officer arrival. LBPD describes the suspect [preliminary information] as a man driving a four-door sedan...and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
