    O'Neill, Colonna, Shannon & LB Chamber Prez Gordon Heading to Sac'to for Schwarzenegger Swearing-In

    (November 14, 2003) -- LB Mayor Beverly O'Neill, Vice Mayor Frank Colonna, City Attorney Robert Shannon and LB Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Randy Gordon are heading to Sacramento to attend the Monday, Nov. 17 swearing-in of Arnold Schwarzenegger as CA's new Governor.

    Mayor O'Neill, named last month to Governor-Elect Schwarzenegger's 65 member transition team, will meet with the team on Sunday before the Monday ceremonies, a release from the Mayor's office said.

    The release adds that for the past five weeks, the transition team headed by Cong. David Dreier (R., San Dimas) has assisted the Governor-Elect with recommendations for 850 positions and openings on 253 Commissions and Committees.
