LBPD Seeks Public's Help In ID'ing Bicycle-Riding Suspect Believed Responsible For Groping Women

(Nov. 21, 2018) -- LBPD is seeking the public's help in ID'ing a male suspect (a man/adult) who detectives believe may be responsible for groping females [unclear from release if victims were adults or juveniles] and used by a bicycle in connection with the crimes.

In its release, LBPD says that in two of the incidents, the victims were groped as they walked down the street as the suspect rode by them on a bicycle. In a third incident, the suspect approached the victim on foot, groped her, then fled on a nearby bicycle.

LBPD says the incidents occurred on the following dates, times and locations:

The suspect has been described as a male Hispanic, 30-40 years-old, 5'8" to 5'11" and 160-170 pounds and wearing a dark colored hoodie.

"Detectives would like to encourage anyone who may have also been a victim and has not reported the incident, to do so immediately by calling Police Dispatch at (562) 435-6711," LBPD's release says.

Anyone who may have information regarding the person responsible for these crimes should contact Sex Crimes Detective Johnny Gomez at (562) 570-7368.
