Attic Fire In El Dorado Park Estates Home Briefly Escalates To Second Alarm, Knocked Down With No Persons Injured

(Nov. 10, 2019, 9:10 a.m.) -- An attic fire in an El Dorado Park Estates home brought multiple LBFD units (and at one point included an L.A. County Fire unit) and briefly escalated to a second alarm overnight (Sunday a.m. Nov. 10) before knockdown with no persons injured.

At first light the aftermath was visible in the 3100 block of Claremore Ave. at Lowe St.


LBFD Capt./Public Information Officer Matt Dobberpuhl tells LBREPORT.com that Engine 5 (Wardlow-El Dorado Park) was dispatched at 1:27 a.m.and arrived at 1:32 a.m. followed by Engine 22, Truck 17, an L.A. County Fire unit and ultimately LBFD Engine 19 (Clark/Monlaco.)

A second alarm was triggered at 1:55 a.m. and firefighters on scene reported the fire was knocked down by 1:58 a.m. with no injuries reported. At early morning Sunday, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
