(November 29 2020, 8:05 a.m.) -- On November 28, residents in LB's south Wrigley neighborhood (CD 6) experienced another shooting. It occurred in broad daylight in the area between Pacific Ave. and LB Blvd., north of PCH and south of Willow St. and left "multiple" parked vehicles with bullet holes and strike marks..

LBPD Watch Commander Lt. Ryan Watson tells LBREPORT.com that on Nov. 28 at about 1:46 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Earl Ave. after reports of shots fired. They found evidence (bullet holes and strike marks) on "multiple" parked vehicles. No persons appear to have been hit.

Lt. Watson says two male subjects (age not indicated) got into two vehicles and fled. LBPD is investigating the shooting as possibly gang related.

Wrigley's most recent gunfire comes less than 24 hours after shots fired (Nov. 27) in the 200 block of E. 29th St. (CD 6 between LB Blvd. and Veterans Park) struck a building (LBREPORT.com coverage here.)

A couple of hours before the E. 29th St. gunfire in areas adjacent to Wrigley, a man was shot/wounded in the area of LB Blvd./19th St. (CD 6). Less than an hour after E. 29th St. gunfire, a vehicle carrying four people (including two children) was struck by gunfire in the area of 16th./Linden (CD1, no persons hit.)

(LBPD says another Nov. 28 shooting left a man wounded, occurred somewhere in Long Beach on Nov. 28 but the victim didn't provide a clear location.) .
