(Nov. 2, 2021) -- LA County's Dept. of Public Health today (Nov. 2) recommended the following COVID precautions for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Get yourself and your loved ones vax'd. Stay local until everyone in your household are fully vax'd. And if you travel with unvaccinated family members, including young children, plan enough travel time to complete quarantine before joining the holiday gathering. [LA County release text] "Gathering outdoors is safest, especially when masks are off for eating and drinking. If outdoors isn’t possible or practical, improve the air flow indoors by opening windows and doors, using fans and portable air cleaners, and running the heating or air conditioner with upgraded or replaced filters." |
