Earlier today, as flashed (first again) by on our front page and Facebook page, LBPD issued a release indicating that it received the DA document on Oct. 20.

LBPD also stated that the DA's office Public Integrity Division remains in the process of conducting a separate review of alleged inappropriate activity and conflicts of interests. A separate criminal complaint against Pearce's former Chief of Staff Devin Cotter for alleged public intoxication is still pending with the City Prosecutor.
