(October 30, 2018, 11:30 a.m.) -- Gunfire damaged a number of vehicles but no person(s) were hit last night (Oct. 29) in northeast NLB (just south of the 91 freeway between Paramount and Downey Aves/9th Council district.) .

The incident comes just days after gunfire flew on Oct. 26 with no person(s) hit in the 6100 block of Linden Ave., a location slated to become the western side of a new commercial development fronting Atlantic Ave. (also in the 9th Council district.)

LBPD Public Information Officer Benjamin Hearst tells LBREPORT.com that at about 7:15 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of 67th Street regarding a shots call, spoke to several witnesses and located evidence of a shooting. Several parked vehicles were struck although no person(s) were hit.

There's no suspect description and it's currently unknown if what took place is gang related, and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
