Heartfelt Sidewalk Memorial -- Candles, Flowers And Eloquent Written Messages -- To Isaac Jetmore, 17, From McBride Classmates, Friends And LB Residents Expressing Condolences

On Oct. 25, the L.A. County Coroner's office released the name of the young man who perished in the fatal Oct. 23 accident at Wardlow Rd./Gondar Ave.
(Oct. 25, 2018, 8:00 p.m.) -- Issac David Jetmore was 17, and will remain forever young in the hearts of his McBride High School classmates. At the accident site, what began as a single candle in the wind on the night of the accident has (as of Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m.) now grown:

Someone who knew Isaac added an especially eloquent tribute to him. A school binder, with pens nearby, is labeled "For Isaac D J, In His Loving Memory, Anyone Can Contribute." It's now filling with heartfelt messages.


We respect the content as personal, and absent permission and out of respect for the message writers, we've declined to webpost the messages here. Suffice to say, the messages are heartfelt and very touching. Judging by the steady stream of individuals who stopped by within a few minutes, we're confident they'll grow.
