LBPD has a suspect in custody in last night's double shooting that left a three yr old and a man (adult) wounded in 1100 block of E 10th St.

(Oct. 5, 2020, 6:15 a.m.) -- LBPD says a three year old male child and a man (adult) were shot/wounded, last night (Oct. 4) in the 1100 block of E. 10th St. (between Alamitos and Orange Aves.) on the border of LB's 1st and 6th Council districts (Zendejas / Andrews).

Initial information is sketchy. LBPD Watch Commander Lt. G. Brown tells LBREPORT.com that at about 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 4 officers responded and found a male toddler and male adult with gunshot wounds. Shortly before dawn (Oct. 5), they're described in stable condition.

Detectives responded and have recovered evidence; the investigation is active and ongoing. .

LBPD's suspect is described as a male Black about 50 years old. Circumstances and motive for the shooting aren't yet clear; uncertain if it was a walk-up or drive by shooting. .
