(Oct. 23, 2021, 2:50 p.m.) -- LBPD Public Information Officer Richard Mejia confirms officers located bullet casings and strike marks following a shooting heard by officers at about 12:15 a.m. on Oct. 23. 2021 as they patrolled the 200 block of Golden Shore (CD 2/Allen).

"Preliminary investigation suggests an unknown number of subjects in a van fired shots at an unknown target in the area. No injuries were reported. No suspect information is known, and the motive for the shooting is unknown."
