(Oct. 21, 2021 updated) -- At a special Oct. 21 meeting, LBCC's Board of Trustees voted 5-0 to approve a policy resolution requiring proof of vaccination for all LBCC staff and students.
LBREPORT.com livestreamed the meeting on our front page and Facebook platform. The resolution text was tweaked slightly by staff before the Board meeting. The compliance deadline for staff was changed to Jan. 3, 2022. Language was added changing compliance date for students to Jan. 24 (prior to start of the spring semester.) And students accessing online-only classes or online-only services needn't submit proof of vaccination. The policy resolution proposes that LBCC employees and students who don't submit proof of vaccination will be excluded from campus unless they have an exemption or other accommodation required by law. Deadline for LBCC staff compliance is Jan. 3, 2022. Deadline for LBCC students is Jan. 24, 2022. The tweaked resolution action is visible here. It recites in pertinent part: For all District employees : Developing. | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
