(Sept. 30, 2018. 5:50 a.m) -- Someone fired shots at a truck as it left a NLB parking lot on Thursday morning (Sept. 27.)

LBPD says that on Sept. 27 at about 8:05 a.m., officers responded to the 6700 block of Cherry Ave after receiving a "shots fired" call.

Arriving officers found evidence of a shooting but didn't find a victim or locate a suspect...but learned that a suspect fired multiple shots at a truck that was leaving a parking lot.

Police describe the suspect only as a male adult; LBPD's investigation ongoing.
