(Sept. 17, 2020, 3:15 p.m.) -- LB's 1st Council district, represnted since Dec. 2019 by LB polce union endorsed Mayor Zendejas (leada all other LB Council districts in shooting crime scenes since June 2020) has had another shooting:

This time it was in the 1600 block of Linden Ave. LBPD Public Information Officer Allison Gallagher says that on Sept. 16 at roughly 11:30 p.m.,officers responded to the 1600 block of Linden Ave., They found bllet casings and three unoccupied vehciles struck by gunfire but no individuals struck.

The crime scene is very close to Roosevelt Elementary School and a littgle over a block west (across Atlantic Ave.) from Poly High. It's in the LBUSD School Board district where Tonia Reyes Uranga and Erik Miller are in a November runoff to succeed retiring incumbent Dr. Felton Williams. .
