(Sept. 18, 2020) -- A man says someone shot at him (and LBPD found bullet casings confirming a shooting) last night (Sept. 17) in the 1000 block of E. PCH (at MLK Ave., 6th Council district/Andrews.)

LBPD Public Information Officer Juan Gomez tells LBREPORT.com that officers responded at about 8 p.m. following a reported shooting. Officers found a man (adult) who reported he'd been shot-at by a man (adult) after they had a verbal exchange outside an area business.

The rounds missed hitting the victim. The suspect fled the sscene prior to officers' arrival. Officers confirmed a shooting occurred, finding bullet casing in the area.

It's Central LB's second shooting crime scene in as many days. On Sept. 16, three unoccupied vehicles were struck, bullet casings found, in the 1600 block of Linden Ave. (1st district/Zendejas.)

A day earlier (Sept. 16), a man was robbed then shot in LB's south shore area/700 block of Queensway Dr. (2nd dist/Pearce), the adddress of the elegant Hotel Maya.
