The LB Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, a non profit entity, is funded largely from LB's transient occupancy (hotel room) tax which comprises roughly 75% of CVB's annual budget. The CVB currently consumes roughly 25% of LB's hotel room tax each year.

In September, 2000 the City Council unanimously voted to increase CVB's 2000-01 budget allocation by $250,000 to $3,729,000.

LBReport.com has posted further details on LBACVB's funding in an article at CVB budget details.
