Guests include Kathy Ryan & Tom Stout of LB Taxpayers Ass'n and Terry Jensen, former RDA Boardmember presenting arguments in opposition to property parcel tax Measure I. (Mayor Bob Foster presented arguments in favor of the measure in September).

City staff says the meeting will provide a brief overview of the Breakwater study, and feature small breakout group discussions based on each participant's interests. The Oct. 8 meeting and two others -- October 29, 2008, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, LB Gas & Oil 2400 E. Spring St. and Nov. 19, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. @ Aquarium -- are designed to be interactive and sequential, as each meeting will build on the community's input from the previous meeting. The topics of the small-group discussions may vary at each of the workshops, and will be summarized at the subsequent workshops. The public is invited to join any one of the workshops, or attend all three.
