(April 11, 2014, updated) -- They've been treated and released, the good news received at early evening (April 11) from LBUSD after confirming that two Long Beach high school students were on-board the bus involved in the horrific northern CA bus collision.
In a release this morning, LBUSD said one student (who attends CA Academy of Math and Science) and another (from LB Poly High) had received injuries described as LBUSD says that although Humboldt State's website lists students from Renaissance and Wilson High among those on the ill fated bus, these are not schools within LBUSD. In its statement, LBUSD extended its deepest sympathy to all involved in the tragiv events, which have thus far taken ten lives (five students, three adults and two drivers) and left over thirty persons with various levels of injuries.
