(April 23, 2015) -- An alleged drug lab caused an explosion at a residence in the 200 block of Belmont Ave., followed by a fire. [LBPD release text] On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of Belmont Avenue to assist the Long Beach Fire Department and Arson investigators after a drug lab was discovered.
