Sat Night Gunfire: 2600 block E. Anaheim St. @ Molino Ave.

(April 8, 2018, 6:35 p.m.) -- Gunfire flew on Saturday night (April 7) along busy E. Anaheim St. in the area of Molino Ave. in the 4th Council district's Zaferia neighborhood.

LBPD PIO Nancy Pratt tells LBREPORT.com that officers responded at about 8:53 p.m. to a shots call in the 2600 block of E. Anaheim St...and determined that a shooting did occur although no one was struck. The suspect remains outstanding and LBPD's investigation is continuing.

It's the second "no hit" shooting in the vicinity within about six weeks.

On Feb. 24, no person was injured after a shooting in the area of 14th St./St. Louis Ave.
