Schipske for Mayor Campaign Reports $24,000 In Contribs, Nearly All From Individuals With 87.7% Listing Long Beach Addresses; Two Major PACs Support: CA Nurses Ass'n & Emily's List

| (Aug. 1, 2013) -- Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske's Mayoral campaign reports receiving contributions totaling $24,425 (cash and non-monetary) during the period Jan. 1-June 30, 2013. an after expenses has a bit over $17,000 cash in the bank as of June 30.
Her contributions come nearly all from individuals, with 87.7% of her contributors listing Long Beach addresses including John Deats, retired Deputy City Attorney Jim McCabe, Grace Earl, Bob Lamond, Brad Shore, Marshall Blesofsky, ELB realtor Ron Beeler and Josh Lowenthal (address outside Long Beach.) Also among her contributors: former state Senator (now L.A. County Supervisor candidate) Shiela Kuehl.
