(Aug. 16, 2015) -- LBREPORT.com has learned that gunfire flew in the area of Ocean Blvd. near Junipero Ave. (at western end of LB's elegant Bluff Park neighborhood) in the 1 a.m. hour today (Sun. Aug. 16.)

LBPD overnight Watch Commander Lt. Dina Zapalski says it doesn't appear to be gang related but rather involved some kind of dispute between a person in a vehicle and a person on a bicycle.

Lt. Zapalski tells LBRPEORT.com that at about 1:09 a.m., LBPD responded to a shots call in the area of Ocean Blvd./Junipero Ave. Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting but found no victim at the location.

A bit later, a man (adult) arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound apparently related to the incident.

We'll add further as we learn it and as newsworthy.
