Millikan Music Boosters Ditch Fundraising Car Washes In Drought, Offer Pancake Breakfast With Proceeds To School's "Orch-A-Band" Program

(Aug. 15, 2015) -- With the epic drought, fundraising car washes are out and school programs like Millikan High's Marching Band had to come up with alternatives. Last year, my car had been washed twice before school started. This year my tummy is full of pancakes

Supporters of Millikan's music programs gathered this morning (Sat. Aug. 15) to prepare, cook and serve a pancake breakfast.

Ticket purchasers enjoyed flapjacks made from home-donated ingredients.

Proceeds benefited Millikan's Orch-a-Band program which supports the school's marching band and orchestras.
