Special Event VIDEO & Photo Coverage

See/Hear Long Beach's 60th Annual Daisy Ave. Christmas Parade

(Dec. 16, 2013) -- LBREPORT.com provides Special Event On-Demand VIDEO coverage, plus a photo gallery below, of the 60th Annual Daisy Ave. Christmas Parade.

The grassroots organized and presented event, first presented in 1953, is believed to be the only major Christmas parade in a large American city that travels through a residential street (not a commercial thoroughfare.) For a history of the parade, written by Maria Norvell (co-founder of the Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance) click here.

LBREPORT.com's extended on-demand VIDEO coverage makes the event accessible nationally and internationally (thank you to our viewers across Long Beach and beyond.) Our VIDEO coverage made possible by Vanco Properties, Desert Express Trucking, the Port of Long Beach and Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance.

LBREPORT.com has an initial photo gallery up now with further photos coming.

Crowds lined Daisy Ave. between Pacific Coast Highway and Burnett St. for this year's parade, which featured 78 entries including city officials, city agencies, community groups, neighborhood businesses and plus Santa Claus.
