FBI IDs By Name, Seeks Public's Help In Learning Whereabouts Of This Suspect In Robbery Of BK Chase Bank + 2 Burbank Banks (Most Recent Dec. 22) + 3 Attempted Bank Robberies, Total Of Six Bank Robberies/Attempted Robberies Since Dec. 13

(Dec. 22, 2014, 9:30 p.m.) -- The FBI has identified by name the suspect it believes responsible for last week's (Dec. 18) robbery of the Bixby Knolls Chase branch (Atlantic/Roosevelt Rd.) AND believes he is responsible for two other bank robberies at Chase branches in Burbank -- with the most recent today Mon. Dec. 22) plus three attempted bank robberies (two at Wells Fargo branches in Santa Fe Springs and Manhattan Beach plus a Chase branch in El Segundo) all on December 20.

That's a total of three bank robberies plus three attempted bank robberies between Dec. 13 and Dec. 22.

In a release, the FBI says it and its law enforcement partners are seeking the public's help in learning the whereabouts of a suspect identified as Gregory Lynn Cross, 58.

"A federal arrest warrant has been issued for Cross and he is currently being sought by the FBI and law enforcement partners. Cross, a black male, is approximately 5'11" and 250 lbs. Anyone with information about where Cross may be residing is urged to contact the FBI at 310 477-6565 or dial 911."
