3.9 Mag Quake In Catalina Channel, Sharp Jolt But Not Terribly Strong in LB

(Dec. 30, 2014) -- As flashed on LBREPORT.com's front page within minutes, a 3.9 initial magnitude quake in the Catalina Channel (about 10.4 miles south of San Pedro) produced a sharp but not terribly strong jolt in the Long Beach area.
