(Jan. 12, 2015) -- Residents in the area of the 900 block of Pacific Ave. just north of downtown (1st Council district) reported hearing gunfire at about 2:40 a.m. Monday morning (Jan. 12)...and they were right.
LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt confirms that officers located evidence of a shooting at the location...although no victim was located. As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, less than twelve hours earlier four people were shot in double shootings at two separate locations. One at roughly 4 p.m. was in the area of 14th St./Raymond Ave. (northeast of Cherry Ave./Anaheim St.) in the 4th Council district; the other was about 5:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Daisy Ave. in the 1st Council district.
