(Jan. 15, 2015, 3:20 p.m.) -- Dan Pressburg has scheduled his latest "meet, greet and eat" for this Saturday, inviting the public to interact one-on-one with candidates and incumbents (list below) who seek to represent the LB area in Congress, state legislature, L.A. County and LB City Council offices.
The takes place Sat. Jan. 16, running from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Historic LB Dairy and Creamery, 167 E. South St. It's a mingle-and-circulate type event designed for chatting and flexibility in arrival and exit times. The event also features edibles, including Mr. Pressburg's world famous quiche. "This is the only event I know of anywhere in the country that gives the public a free form opportunity to interact and question multiple candidates for public offices in an informal atmosphere," Mr. Pressburg. He added, "This is different from other candidate 'meet and greets' since our event isn't run by candidate campaigns and opposing candidates and reporters are welcome." And he notes: "Other meet and greets don't prepare and offer serious food as I do." [Donations are accepted to help offset Mr. Pressburg's out of pocket costs for the event.] [Scroll down for further.] |
