Subject to availability, LBFD PIO Jake Heflin tells LBREPORT.com (at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 3) there are sandbags available [up to 10 per person] and sand available at the locations below [MAJOR CAVEAT: subject to availability; we're unofficially told some locations have run out; as of 2:30 p.m., no updated info on City's Twitter or Facebook feeds.]

- Stn: 12: 1195 E. Artesia Blvd.
- Stn. 13: 2475 Adriatic Ave.
- Stn 14: 5200 Elliot St.
Sand (not bags) is available at 1651 San Francisco Ave. (at the Esther St. entrance)
Sand bags only at LB Lifeguard HQ at the Junipero Ave. parking lot and at 72nd Place.
LBFD dispatch unofficially mentioned bringing your own shovel to load the sand [because some people have walked off with City shovels.]
(Sand is NOT available on the beaches; don't even think about it.
