LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona tells LBREPORT.com that on Tues. July 22 at about 11:19 a.m., LBPD air support on routine patrol came upon an a traffic collision at Bellflower Blvd./Wardlow Rd...and it appeared that two motorycles were down in the street. LBFD responded; LBPD had no immediate information on injuries.
LBREPORT.com saw LBFD Rescue 18 and Engine 5 on scene [under the new Rapid Medic Deployment system.] Firefighters/paramedics were tending to a person lying in the street who was transported from the scene by Another motorcycle was standing alongside an individual standing nearby who was talking with police. A third motorcycle (unclear if it was involved in any way) was standing a short distance away a bit south on Bellflower Blvd. LBPD's investigation was ongoing at midday. As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, on July 9, three persons were transported to hospitals (two with minor injuries, a third via a paramedic unit) in an early evening collision at Bellflower/Wardlow.
