(July 5, 2015, 10:45 a.m.) -- Two adults -- a man and a woman -- were shot and wounded on July 4th at the area of 10th St./Lewis Ave. at about 11:30 p.m. LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona tells LBREPORT.com that at about 11:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of area of 10th St/Lewis Avenue to investigate reports of a shooting; officers located two adult victims (a man and a woman) who sustained gunshot injuries; LBFD transported the victims victims to hospitals with what are described as The shooting comes two days after a 14 year old boy was shot on Thursday night (July 2) in the 1000 block of Chestnut Ave. basically ten blocks north of Long Beach City Hall.
