Midafternoon Teamed Robbery -- At Least One Suspect Seen With A Gun -- Rob Uptown Bixby Knolls Jewelry Store (July 8)

(July 9, 2015) -- A jewelry store in the 4300 block of Atlantic Ave. became the victim of a teamed robbery -- in which one of three suspects was seen with a gun -- smashed store cases, made off with jewelry and got away (for now.)

LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt says that officers responded to the store at about 2:45 p.m., determined that three male subjects, at least one of whom was seen with a gun, they smashed glass cases, removed jewelry and fled.

No physical injuries to an employee were reported.

LBPD's investigation is ongoing. LBPD asks anyone with information about what took place to contact its Robbery Detail at (562) 570-7464
