Summer Early Evening: Not Yet 18, There's A Street Fight, He Allegedly Has A Gun, Shoots At Someone -- And Misses -- And Is Arrested

(July 26, 2016) -- It was just after 7:00 p.m., still daylight on Monday July 25. LBPD officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of E. 56th Way (just southeast of South St./Paramount Blvd., 8th Council district), responding to a report of someone with a gun.

LBPD Watch Commander Lt. Erik Herzog tells LBREPORT.com that officers arrived to find a large fight in the street; they heard a single gunshot; they found a male juvenile with a gun who allegedly shot at someone; the round missed; the armed young person was arrested.
