(June 8, 2015) -- A number of residents in SE LB's University Park Estates neighborhood (west of Studebaker, east of PCH, just south of 7th St.) became crime statistics over the weekend...when they had their car tires slashed. LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt tells LBREPORT.com that police received about ten reports of the vandalism in the general area of the 6200 block of E. 6th St. [approximate location; car tires were slashed in a roughly two block area in the vicinity.] The total isn't yet known with precision (additional incidents may be reported) but LBPD says it appears the vandalism took place during the period between Friday night (June 5) and Saturday morning (June 6.)
