(June 17, 2016) -- The National Weather Service forecasts rising temps on Friday and Saturday (June 17 and 18) with some serious heat for some inland LB areas on Sunday and Monday (June 19 and 20) -- and how hot depends on how far one is from the cooling shore.

NWS initially forcast Monday's highs ranging from 85 in coastal 90802 to 103 in ELB/inland 90808...BUT by dawn Friday, NWS lowered its predictions a bit, now just just 102 in ELB/inland 90808 and 85 in 90802. Tuesday's forecast shows temps dropping by about 10 degrees in inland areas.

Below are illustrattive National Weather Service predicted highs for parts of LB over the next few days.
