Seen/Heard at Oct 15 Rally Launching "Occupy Long Beach" at Lincoln Park

Roughly 100 people expressing varying political views (via T-shirts, buttons, signs and some at an open mike session) were visible and audible while we were present between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Attendees ranged from high school/college students to seniors/retirees.

Speakers at an open mike session voiced views ranging from progressive/left to Ron Paul style Repub (denounced the Federal Reserve Bank).

Multiple signs and speakers denounced the influence of money in politics. Several expressed the view that both Dems and Repubs and the political system in general don't represent "99%" of the public. Several attendees with whom we spoke (including two seen on the video) said they'd voted for Barack Obama in 2008...but wouldn't do so again in 2012.
