LBREPORT.com Asks Councilman DeLong If He'll Be Seeking Elective Office in 2014 And He Says...

| (Sept. 25, 2013) -- Yesterday (Sept. 24) LBREPORT.com asked Councilman Gary DeLong by email if he plans to pursue elective office in 2014. Councilman DeLong (completing his second full term on the City Council in 2014) replied by email:
"I am receiving more and more emails and phone calls asking me to run for Mayor, particularly since Bonnie [Lowenthal] entered the race, but I'm not one of these people who feel they have to run for office. There are many ways to perform public service."
