(Sept. 29, 2015) -- Long Beach police officers identified, found and arrested two suspects -- and the District Attorney has now charged the pair with murder in connection with the Sept. 13 fatal shooting of a man in the 300 block of E. 67th St. In addition, the DA has charged one of the defendants with attempted murder in connection with a non-fatal (unrelated) Sept. 7 NLB shooting. LBPD states in a release: [LBPD release text] On Sunday, September 13, 2015, at approximately 9:37 a.m., Long Beach Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. 67th Street to assist Long Beach Fire Department personnel who were on scene with a deceased male. Long Beach Homicide detectives and an investigator from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office responded and determined he had sustained injuries after being struck by gunfire.
