(Sept. 15, 2015) -- An advisory this afternoon (Sept. 15) from 3rd dist. Councilwoman Suzie Price directed to Naples Island area residents offers an initial explanation for flooding in their neighborhood this morning: [Councilwoman Price email] This morning, one of the L.A. Although the reason(s) for this morning's Naples area pump station failure hasn't been determined, the result may be similar to what happened in the ELB Palo Verde/Atherton area in January 2010 when an SCE power outage caused a City of LB pump station to fail to operate...and area street flooding resulted. Again: no cause yet determined for the Naples pump station failure. Further as we learn it.
